Fred Wiley
President and CEO
Fred plays a diverse and experienced role in the Off-Road community. From creating grassroots local 4WD and snowmobile clubs, writing state and federal legislation favoring public lands open to motorized recreation. This includes legislation that named the first congressionally designated and nationally protected OHV area, to testifying before Congress on pending wilderness designation that would close snowmobile access near Lake Tahoe.
Fred has spent a considerable amount of time with state and federal congressional officials and staffers, wherever policy is created, written, presented and passed. In addition, his relationships with the BLM and Interior agencies has been instrumental in facilitating or obtaining permits and waivers to hold competitive events such as the King of the Hammers along with a number of others. Because of his grass roots connection with the off-road community and the important relationships he has cultivated with policy makers, his invaluable relationships have helped the businesses who depend on off road vehicles sales, and its end-users..
Fred also maintains healthy, collaborative relationships and counsels with other land use groups and associations, including SEMA, Tread Lightly, the American Sand Association, CORVA, C4WDA, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Southern Off Roaders Association, and others.
